Hello! Welcome to Bellacorea. Bellacorea means “Beautiful Korea” in Italian. I am from South Korea and currently living in Finland. I do love food, of course cooking (particularly Korean and Italian), baking, eating, reading cookbooks, and trying new ingredients. No wonder! Food is a big part of my life.

I believe that a good food does not always mean delicious and fancy. It has to be from the bottom of one’s heart.

    • Thanks! I’ve just started this blog since January so I’m still figuring out how to do things as you are doing!! I really love your idea to have Korean food with wine.. I’ve had a semi dry red wine with roasted porkbelly(์‚ผ๊ฒน์‚ด), a dry white wine with Korean sushi(๊น€๋ฐฅ), and Kimchi pancake as well! I’m not an expert of wine as you are but I would say, they were pretty wonderful harmonies!

      • My mom’s from South Korea so I grew up in America with a lot of her home cooking :] Bulgogi has always been my favorite Korean food, but kimchii jigae is also very good, much spicier in Korea than in America. I’m looking forward to making japchae for the first time at home, and perhaps trying some of your recipes too (especially the spinach).
